Project Choice is a Medicaid Service Provider serving disabled children and adults in Lee, Charlotte and Collier counties. As a caregiver at Project Choice you will be able to help individuals enjoy life by helping them perform their simple daily functions while working with them to achieve their specific individual goals.
You will need:
one year of verifiable work experience with the disabled, elderly, or children
a high school diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
to be able to pass a Level II Federal Background Check
have a valid in state drivers license and provide current registration and proof of insurance
We are looking for individuals that are compassionate, social, trustworthy, dependable and service-minded. This is an autonomous position so we are looking for the right people who are self-motivated, willing to learn through experience, and open to receiving feedback for personal growth and development in the position.
Commuting is always a challenge here in SWFL and our staff will always try to provide clients as close to you as possible as well as offering flexible options that work with your schedule so that you are still able to balance your personal and family time and other priorities with your exciting new career. Required courses include: CPR, First Aid, HIPPA, Zero Tolerance, Introduction to Developmental Disabilities and Medication Administration (if the client you serve requires medication assistance) A variety of free courses will be available to help you grow in your position and gain professional experience for future opportunities.
